Hi flow cats
So being a christmas baby Im lookin for some gift ideas to give my girlfriend lol.I currently have the flowmaster hushpower axle back and looking to add a lil more sound and power.
If i get the jba or solo hfc's, is that all i will need to have them installed? Will it be a matter of just swapping out the factory ones and installing these? headers would be nice but are out of the question right now as i finish up school. Thanks. |

Get the Solo's, yes that is all you need. They come with extenders for the rear O2's to prevent a code... and gaskets and bolts.

Get the JBA Mids as they are a great bang for the buck. They install in about 30-45 minutes and make 15-20rwhp alone.
$389 shipped and I bought $12 o2 extenders and installed them in 5 minutes and NEVER had a CEL. http://juicedmotorsports.com/2010cam...a_1812syc.html Last edited by 2010 4 DW; 12-04-2012 at 04:11 PM. |

Just got the Solos and couldn't be happier. Great sound and performance for the price. Plus everything installed in less than an hour and no codes with their system. If you want HFCs that is the only way to go IMO.

Both sets of high flows work great. We've sold a ton of both and have nothing but praise for each brand. They add power and sound with a very quick and easy install.

I went with JBA's, I felt like the Solo's were too overpriced.

I can't speak for either brand, but regular o2 extenders did not work for mine. I made it about a week before throwing the CEL and then it started to throw it every other day (P0420 and P0430). I bought a set of the "adjustable" Vibrant brand o2 extenders... I'm using the "medium size" jet right now and I'll get a code for one side (P0430 only) about every 3 weeks now... I need to swap in the small jets and see what happens... If that doesn't work, I'll have to try moving the o2 sensor bung on the one side...

Now that you mention it, I had to change out my o2 extenders, the crappy aluminum ones gave out. Went with stainless ones!

Solo HF Cats, one of the best mods made to my SS. Great sound and a bump in torque
