Radar detection button in steering wheel

In my buddy's BMW he has a radar system, which first off all is completely hidden, and secondly can be turned on via a button on the steering wheel. Has anyone done this with their camaro and if so do they have pictures/video or if not is it possible???

That would be cool but sounds expensive. He doesnt know anythying about his?
There is a place called Audio Express out here and I rember them selling a radar detection kit a long time ago that is mounted under the hood somewhere and the display was supposed to be mounted somewhere near the gauges in your car like a HUD. It was very expensive (thousands). It didnt offer better detection or anything, just made it so you didnt have to mount it in plain sight.

There's would have been the Escort S7 and the ZR3 shifter if it was a couple years back.

This new one is the 9500ci (custom install)

We have one enroute to install on a 2010 2SS. the hot thing now is to mount the display piece in the center fo the cluster above the turn signals.

above the turn signals? or below?

I'm about to do it and I was going to mount it below the turn signals. Where above it do you mount it?

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)
