No gauge cluster option in a 2010 Camaro 1SS LS3 M6
Just wanted to know why the 1SS M6 Camaro such as mine and others never came stock with the auxiliary gauge package in the center console, but knowing the 2SS Camaros did. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Simple answer, to push you to buy a 2SS.

I just bought a '14 2LT/RS and it has the gauges. Does it come as part of the 2LT trim or the RS option? They look super cool, especially at night, but I must admit I hardly ever look at them - I'd almost rather have the empty space to put my wallet, etc. Plus it seems like all the same info can also be displayed in the little screen between the speedo and tach. I was watching a vid review of the ZL1 and noticed they put a supercharger boost gauge in place of the transmission temp which I thought was a nice touch by Chevy.

Only the RS package on the 14-15 v6s gives you the 20 inch rims, which in turn lets you go up to 155, where as the 2lt non-RS cars still have the smaller wheels.

They can easily be added. I find the oil temp gauge very useful.

Its a shame. The gauge cluster is one of the best parts of the interior. Ties the whole "throwback" feel together.

The gages came with the 2SS package on V8 cars, whether RS or non-RS.
I have a non-RS 2SS. It has leather seats and gage package. RS would have added halo lights and other exterior cosmetics, but would have lost the fog lights (DRL instead, in that position). I wanted the fully functional fog lights. So my headlights, at reduced power, are the DRLs, and there's a push button to turn on the fogs for their intended purpose: driving in bad weather. The gages are useful at the track. |

Wrong - The earlier model years that had the RS package on the 2LT V6's also carried the 20" rims. That was the case with my 2011 2LT/RS when purchased new at the dealer. It also came with the other upgraded goodies stock.

That's why I said 14-15. Plus I was referring to GatorGregs car which is a 14 2lt/RS. If he would've got a 2lt regardless of the RS package he would've got the gauges. GatorGreg if you want my console trim pm me. Lmao.
