Eagle Eye Halo Kelvin Rating

I am about to install my Eagle Eyes but wanted to buy bulbs to match. Does anybody know what the actual halos are rated at? 5000k? 6000K?

Any and all help is appreciated

If I had to guess I would say 6000K. When my headlights HID kit was 6000K they matched perfectly with the halos, but when I swtiched to 5000K for better lighting, I could tell that the halos were more blue than the headlights.

Thank you! Do you like having the contrast? Ideally I would like 5000k all around but since the halos are 6000k I am not sure what to do.

The difference is not easily noticeable but I would have liked them to match. That said, the benefits of better night time visibility outweigh the color mismatch IMO.

In that case, I think I will end up going with the 5000k. Thanks for your input

I have 5000K HIDs with my Eagle Eye Halos and they are REALLY close. Maybe the Halos are right between 5-6K because if the Halos are more blue it is VERY slight. I put in 5000K LED lights in my fogs and everything is very close. Unfortunately my LED switchbacks are much more blue than the rest of my lights, but I've been unable to locate any 5000K type 1 LED switchbacks. VLED's has the type 2, but I prefer the type one (flashes from white to amber instead of switching between them)

So is the stock OEM halos, fogs and HID kit 5000k?

Do you have a link to eagle eyes and bulbs you are getting? Would like to do the same on mine.

Most OEM HID bulbs are going to be 4300K, I imagine the Angel eyes are somewhere between 5-6k

I'd suggest a 6000K HID for the best match, especially if you plan on adding white LEDs elsewhere
