It was time...

Well, I said goodbye to my 2013 V6 and upgraded to a 2019 SS. What a difference indeed. I loved my v6 but the start up of a V8 is what I have wanted for a long time. .

sharp car! looking forward to seeing what you do to it...if it turns out half as good as the blue one, it will be pretty sweet.

Thank you guys! Already ordered some cosmetics for it. A lot of negativity on the refresh but I'm excited to make it look good!

I'm a fan of the 2019 SS refresh.

I do, I already ordered my LED sidemarkers and splitter kit. I sent my bronze stance SFO7 wheels to get ceramic coated and I'll put them back on. Might poke a little in the rear becuase of the 20x11 +28 offset and 315 tire. So I'm going to put them on before lowering it. Also putting my white Cipher seats back on, just need new brackets. I'm almost positive the bmr springs will be the only ones I'll be able to put on without having to much rubbing issues. I'll be ordering the side skirts next week as well. I want an exhaust but the NPP will do for now.

It should be a big difference. They run about as much faster than a L99/LS3 as those do against the V6.

I don't know though. I never warmed up to the 6th gen design and the update for '19 makes it an even harder sell for me. However, I must say that the all black paint makes the front bumper look a lot better than the two tone look with other colors. I still don't like the "goggles" for tail lights though.

They're fast no doubt, but I'd rather have the better looking slower car (subjectively speaking of course).

You can always make a slow good looking car fast, but it's hard to make a not so good looking fast car better looking. Well, if we're talking about as good looking as the 5th gen was/is.

Maybe the 7th gen will knock it out of the park like the 5th gen did back in '09.
