Week 5. The wash & coat is still holding up well, no change in water beading/sheeting.

Even more cool! Adams is running a 20% off sale right now, a 64oz container of this is $20.80 after discount, so I had to place an order! 4oz per application gives you 16 applications. That's $1.30 per application!!

Week #6. The car actually got a little dirty this week. No fault of the wash/coat, a trip to the dragstrip last Thursday night, and 5 days in a row of rain, it was supposed to be dirty.

So lets clean it up and see how the wash/coat is holding up.

First..... get all the dirt loose I possibly can with foam. Then do a 2 bucket wash.

Water is still beading well.

Sheeting is just a little slower, but not by much, very little water left to dry.

Finished up...….paint is clean, and reflective.

Thank you Chris, for such a great product. My only problem is I want to use the Spray Ceramic Coating and top it with Ceramic Boost on my car after polishing it with Carpro Essence. But I'm waiting to see the full durability of the Wash/Coat, so this review will be complete.

Looks like it will be several more weeks, as the Wash/Coat is holding up really well.

It's halfway to matching the durability of Carpro Hydrofoam, but if it doesn't make 12 weeks, I'm still switching. The Adams Wash/Coat is easier to use. and my car stays cleaner with it.

Week #7, car didn't get washed, rain showers every day!

Into week #8, the beads are not as round and tight anymore. This is the point at which I reapply protection. The product has not completely failed, would be OK for a another week at least.

So I'll call the durability 9 weeks on an ungaraged daily driver. This is good based on the similar wash/protect SI02 products I've used.

Final assessment.

Ease of use.....Best in class.....no worries about product drying on surface, as long as the paint is cool, and the car is in the shade. All the other products leave bad streaking if they dry, which has you doing only a section at a time when washing.

Beading and sheeting....tied with Carpro Hydrofoam…..the only difference is the Adams has a cure time, so you won't see this immediately.

Resistance to dust/dirt...Best in class....car stayed cleaner than it ever has between washes.

Protection against acids (bird bombs and bug splatter) I did have on several occasions, these get on the paint. No etching whatsoever......tied with Carpro Hydrofoam.

Durabiity…...8-9 weeks...about average....Carpro Hydrofoam lasts 12 weeks.

Overall I am very pleased with Adams Wash/Coat SIO2. The ease of use, and the resistance to dust/dirt make this product good enough for me to switch from Hydrofoam.

Great product Adams!

Joe, thanks for this. I wanted to wait to see your results.

Great job as usual! Always an ‘honest’ assessment....
