Vert rear antenna cable routing
I have to replace my MyLink NAV antenna cable. apparently, the previous owner, managed to pinch the coax GPS cable where the harness exits the trunk lid and goes into the passenger side rear fender then heads to the door's rocker panel then to the right kick panel to a junction connector. My Chevy dealer diagnosed the problem said it was the cable between the trunk fin antenna and the kick panel junction. He wanted to charge me 1600 bucks to rout a new cable.
My question is because I finally found a correct replacement cable is how you rout the cable once it makes that turn in the trunk toward the backseat down the inside of the interior speaker panel to the rocker? I tried using fishing cable from both sides and no luck. It gets hung up somewhere. The Haynes manual I have isn't specific and changing the convertible antenna. Thanks |

Did you ever find a fix for this? I have to do the exact thing.
