I'm going to vote for a different option. #6. I had a local sign company do the LS7 style in matte black vinyl. $125 installed. I love it.[IMG][/IMG]

#4 on mine it the picture. As stated above take off on bad weather, before washing and be sure to wipe it clean before reinstalling. It is temporary so you can take off and put it back on to decide what you like. I ordered gloss black vinyl for my trunk and between the tail lights but do not have it installed yet.

I ordered the RiderGraphix vinyl, not installed yet, but I've seen lots of them that look good. If I really like it, I might do the permanent paint later. This is just a trial run. Got vinyl stripes (OEM) that I might have pulled off for something else later.

I believe I've seen them on ebay for about $25.00 USD.

I am tempted to buy one, but it seems that you need to 'maintain' it (clean).

Right - moisture gets under magnet & if not removed to clean will cloud the clear coat. Tough to buff out.
I had a magnetic flag on my PT Cruiser post-9/11 and didn't know better. Eventually got the clouding out but swore off any magnets.

That is true and as stated above you do need to pay a lot of attention to it, keeping it dry and clean. Yes I found it on EBay.

Vinyl ls7 style black out is like $125, I'd fork up an extra $100 or so and just have it painted.

You were very lucky on this price. Being quoted about $300 here. Fast Signs said they could do it and then changed their mind.
