recall # n11060a. dealer reprogramed bcm. took about 30 mins.

Had mine done yesterday as well. It also was around 30 min. No one really told me anything about what they did or what they found. Nothing like some people are saying they got a new compressor!!

It addresses issues that may cause you AC to either fail to start, or fail to stop.
Provided your AC hasn't failed already, they re-program the BCM. Only takes a little while.

The recall only applies to certain VIN numbers. Just check with your dealer, tell them your VIN, and they'll tell you whether you need to come in or not.

I had mine done on Monday. I called the dealer on Friday asking about the a/c recall. Upon entering the vin# i was advised my car was part of it. I still wonder why i wasn't notified from either GM or the dealer. Good thing having this forum to make us aware of issues.

I got a voice mail from the selling dealer about two weeks ago, and the letter came today.

They said the A/C would be on and all of a sudden it would stop blowing cold air. I didn't have an issue but they reprogrammed mine when I got my oil changed.
