Ported TB and the VTC?

Has there been an issue with the vintesa throttle control and ported throttle bodies? Has anybody had an issue with their throttle controller related to adding a ported throttle body to their Camaro? I know some people have had issues with their VTC but have not heard any related to VTC and ported throttle bodies not playing nice together. Has anyone had this problem?

No stories or personal problems related to the throttle control and ported throttlebodies? I didn't think so. Seems a ported TB would only enhance what the Throttle controller does.

I believe some people had issues with the VMAX ported throttle body and the VTC causing the car to go into "limp mode."
No one seemed to be able to determine why some had issues and most didnt..

VTC has caused many Camaros to go into limp mode.

So you think the TPB has nithing to do with it?
Very possible since the problems seemed to only be with folks running the VTC

I ran both just fine. We have sold a few brands of throttle controllers for a while now, and the issues that people have had are seemingly random. We have even swapped throttle bodies AND accelerator pedal position sensors to no avail. When it comes to random issues with these things, I'm stumped.

So it's hit and miss. Throw a code, and change the tb and still have the code? The throttle controller ands sensitivity to the throttle position and nothing else, no measurable increase in rwhp or torque or lowering of et in the 0-60, 1/8, or 1/4 mile. While porting the Throttlebody improves all of those numbers.

Well, I will say that personally, I have a ported TB and a VTC.
Love them together, and just finished a 2400 mile road trip with ZERO issues.
got an average of 28.1 mppg on the highway parts with an average speed of 73mph
(That includes the times I was stuck in traffic, construction, slowing for tolls, etc...)

About 4 months, but I run the hell out of mine when I'm driving.
I'm anything BUT gentle on it.
I've put 35k on it in 18 months and that's driving a company van for work.
Wore the first set of tires off it in no time and will need to replace the clutch this coming spring I think.
I would think if I in was going to mess up it would have done it on the road trip.
I had 2 days that were 14 hours drive time each
