One of my last nice cars was a 70SS454 El Camino Black with white stripes and Cowl Induction. this kinda takes me to that happy place in my head.
If it turns out I was wrong to stick 'em on........Off they go and back to stock.
Made by ERPART and found on Amazon in case anybody's curious. They are thin embossed aluminum not a sticker. available in other color combo's

Hmmm… I think I’d like them better without the hood stripes. With that said, I’m pretty certain I bought a variation of those same style emblems for my Mustang. If they’re the same, they look good, but are very thin. The non adhered outer edges concerned me as a microfiber towel, or buffing wheel could easily get caught or cut up. I ended up not using mine.

I thought of that on the emblem as well, the outer edges are rolled very nicely under and the adhesive tape covers 100% of the inside. I do appreciate your reply. I watched the new and in transit cars for many months with a country wide view wondering if I'd see another car like what I ordered. Heck, I'll be elated if mine is the only one. for me, the stripes just belong there due to my past Chevelle's and RS Camaro being factory equipped the same way.

The white stripes look great IMHO. I had a bright blue 5th Gen RS with a pair of fat white stripes that ran the length of the body (a factory option that year)- I really liked those as well.
I'll never forget the look on a 10 yr. old boys face when I believe he got his first look at a Camaro and it seemed like its appearance had a physical impact on him. He'll be wanting a 5th. Gen when he grows up, I have no doubt.

I like the emblems, subtle enough where they could be factory almost like that GM Performance emblem when you open the hood.

I’ve been all over the place on whether I’ll do stripes or not on my W.C. LT1.

I'm generally not a huge fan of stripes, but they look nice on there. Not a fan of the 6.2 LT1 badge, I think they would look better if they where just the same color lettering to match the stripes. Just my $.02

In my opinion what's disrupting the overall appearance of the hood is the black vent insert.

A take it or leave it for me. It doesn't really matter either way. The only things I'll stick on my black Camaro might be small matt black American flags if I find a suitable place.

My vote is on just having the 6.2 LT1 in radiant red with no silver background ... I've always liked stripes on cars due to the 35th Anniversary SS from 2002. Beautiful car btw!
