Who has installed the Z/28 differential cooler?

I have the Z/28 differential cooler. I was shocked when I read the instructions. Removing the exhaust, removing the drive shaft, dropping differential housing.

Before I start ripping my car apart I thought I would check with those of you that have already done this.

Any advice suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have a z28 to install myself with the cooler and thinking of running the plumbing a different way like up in the rear fender well.

I have installed it and yeap....... its fun lol. Took me a day (10hrs) because I didnt have a hoist. In all honesty the worst part was fishing the front lines without much floor clearance but a friend did it on a hoist and took him 2 minutes lol.

Also, the exhaust is damn heavy as my chest was proof lol... but just take your time and you ll be fine. I lowered exhaust and diff on a crawler in the end and just pulled it out.

You run lines from rear to radiator so it's involved, no part of it was hard though.
