Beware, not a Z/28
(although, anyone who knows the 5th gen Z/28 would know that immediately) |

^ Looks awesome!
I've only seen one Z/28 here in the Bay Area. I just got off work early morning spring 2016 headed southbound on the 101 in the Mill Valley area in white. Thought to myself "wow that's what it looks like in the flesh!". At that time I was in the market for one and finally got my own that summer. A white one at that! To whomever that was, Thank you! |

I finally saw one last night at a local pub in White Bear Lake...I am thinking it was Nasty Z28's Car.
Was going to snap a pic but it was raining and I was hungry...I looked for you but didn't see you.

Someone sent me a pic of another white Z/28 on Long Island, but I did not lay eyes on it. So, still haven't seen one!

Saw one in the wild for the very first time last week in NYC - white - he tried to show off going around a corner fast and almost lost it.

Still have not seen one in the street. I have seen two Hellcat Demons though.

First one I seen was on the Power Tour 2014, Gm guy was driving a black one and parked next to my ZL1 that I had at the time.....I cheezed over that car for a some time looking it over.
Only other one I seen was the AGM car that popped up for sale local to me earlier this year....we have a few large cars shows around here that drag in a lot of late model camaro's, mostly modded ZL1's that are set up for drags but mine is the only Z/28 so far and it seems to draw a crowd from the camaro group and pictures....funny how little even camaro's people know about the Z/28 |

I've seen probably 6-8 in person other than mine, since their release.
-Local guy has a black one, heads/cam, tracks it at Pitt Race too. Him and I are the only ones around Pittsburgh that I've seen personally. Others to note: -Ken Thwaits had his white one, in stock form, at Pitt Race for the 2014 Optima event -1 or 2 at dealers -3 or 4 at shows

Never seen one on the street hereabouts. Seen a few at the track, their natural stomping grounds.

Saw one locally in 2016 a week after I bought mine, but it had not been delivered yet. Saw Fusion's car at his shop, after I got mine. Saw a black one at a Carmaro club event, which is daily driven and saw 5 or 6 at S.Cal Camaro fest in April (maybe 1,000 Camaro's there) - 4 were display cars for shops and the other two were mine and one other.
So 3 sightings of 8 different ones here in OC. Don't see them often but there are a few around here for sure! One thing I like about or Z versus my buddies 350r is its tough to tell an R from a regular GT350, but you always know if you see a real Z, they are very distinct from any other Camaro - just one more reason why they are special cars! |
