I have since found out about these...

The R888 and R888R tire are different. R888 is a little more lateral traction based, R888R is more like an NT01.

They do wear out fast, I had them on a set for my 14 ZL1 they did pretty fine for me.

Worked fine here too... ran 30+ 20min sessions on a set... plus figure 8, skid pad, and braking excersises

How many track days did you get out of the set? Assuming at least 4 20min sessions per day.....

I love my NT01's . They held up great on the track stuck very well. We close to that of my R7's. I said close clearly not as well.

I have not ran R888's. I plan to try those next time just to compare.

Right now i have 7 Track Days on them...

5 - 20min sessions except for two days were 5 - 20 sessions but 1st session each day was the figure 8/skid pad, braking excersices

Went to Thunderhill, Laguna Seca, and Sonoma last year...

Planning on doing ButtonWillow and Autoclub Speed way this year as well

Ah,you must be up north.

I do ACS 2-3 times a year. ButtonWillow and Big Willow, Streets of Willow and Chuckwalla are the others I run at.
