A lot of kids my age are incredibly over-confident in their driving abilities and end up wrecking the cars they buy. But, you know, it's okay. Mommy or daddy'll just buy me another one.
I remember one kid at my school got a black 2SS/RS 2010 back in April/May, and all I can think to myself is "how much did daddy pay?" Now, that's under the assumption the kid didn't buy it, in which case, more power to him. But needless to say, that's way too nice of a car for a first car. I got my '98 Camaro, 101.5k miles and nearly 12 years after it was produced, and all for easily one-tenth of what he paid for that car. I do plan to uphold to the original agreement where I pay for half of my car, and I can honestly say that because of that, I think my car will always be worth more, if not to anyone else, at least to me.

3 BMW's? His parents should've learned after the first one... I get one chance. If anything happens to the grape ape, I'm SOL. Period.
I think there is a difference between parents buying a kid their first car vs. getting a brand new car. For instance my parents bought my first truck (a 2001 S10 Xtreme) but I knew that was the only car I was getting. Its not like if I went out and wrecked it I got a new one. I then sold the truck to get the red Z in the earlier post and never wrecked that and then I have my 2002 SS now and I'm 21. So you don't have to buy a car to respect it, you can take care of it just as well. Are their plenty of kids that have cars they don't deserve? Yes, but I wouldn't say if they are young and have a Camaro they are going for sure wreck it.

Ive been reading alot of threads with people complaining about their cars(2010) being on every block here shortly and not being so limited. Well let me just say that is one reason I picked up my 00 SS. Its funny that our cars are actually more rare than theirs are, especially the nice ones like ive seen here. The 4th gen SS is actually the last as of now truely limited production camaro. Not hateing just saying.

Actually, I think they're pretty close to 150k fourth-gens, so give it another year before ours our rarer than theirs.
As for the SS, more than likely fewer of those out there than what's around today, but the Z28 was a nice competitor to the SS, so maybe the numbers should be adjusted to accommodate for that...
I don't know. Either way, I'm loving my car more than any other out there in the world.

Yeah, you've got a point there. I can't really argue with that.

Did you wreck them all, or why so many? That's a huge list!
