I hope these are come in around 400-$500 considering they are Axel back not Cat Back.
Sure a Corsa or Borla Cat back would be sweet, but I'll pass on the $1200 price tag.

"Loudmouth" is SLP's loudest/least restrictive exhaust. I've got it on my '01 SS. The guys at SLP asked me if I was absolutely positive I wanted something that loud. On 4th gen F-Body "Loudmouth" removes the mufflers and includes one resonator aft of the Y-pipe. With my Kooks headers I have fullfilled Homer Simpson's dream: "When I gun the motor I want the world to think it's coming to an end!"

Downside is serious resonance in-car at 1900-2100 RPM and the innability to have a conversation above 3500 RPM... to which I say F@&K Yeah!

5th gen may be different since the cars have true duals and an H-pipe.

"Loudmouth II" has a different resonator and low-restriction mufflers on 4th-gens.

Listening to these clips on my high-end home theater surround system soundclip 2 sounds the best by far. Clip 1 sounds harsh and kind of ratty; clip 3 is better but not by much. Clip 2 has a deep, throaty growl that's smooth and powerful sounding; it sounds like a highly tuned performance car.

Although comparing it to Fastlane's CAI, header with 3" long tube custom setup that's still the best one I've heard yet. I'm sure it's a lot more expensive but man that sounds glorious.

I'm really interested in hearing Loudmouth 2 on the LS3 now.

The SLPs will void the exhaust warranty...

Just remember that if you change part X, the warranty from X is void. It will not void part Y ( although some dealers will try to tell you it does!!! )

Would you guys recommend a full cat back or will an axle back be enough? Does the stock piping provide decent to better flow? I'm trying to justify the extra hundreds of dollars.
