Hood Color Faded..=/ wtf

Hey, guys.
So I had my hood, roof, spoiler and gascap plastidipped about 4 months ago.
A week ago I decided to go with a different look and peeled everything off.
Color of the hood and gascap faded, but roof and spoiler remained the same.
Plastidip was applied correctly, it peeled off instanteously.
I am really worried that the color is going to stay like this and you can really see the difference. Any suggestions on how to fix that? Maybe it may be covered under warranty? :S

hmm, maybe the other body panels faded instead of the dipped parts ?
or maybe the dip left residue or stained the parts ?

Maybe, but if you look on the second picture, the white color of the body is more "summit white"ish than the hood. Hood looks almost yellowish.
I tried washing it, waxing it, leaving it on the sun...doesn't seem to work

Clay bar the hood and gas cap to remove everything then start buffing, polishing, waxing and sealing. If that doesn't work. Your only option is to have it color sanded and re cleared or re painted and cleared. It's possible the chemicals stained the clear.

I claywaxed it, but still the same.
How much do you think it would cost? Why roof and spoiler didn't change in color then?

maybe those two areas where the result of a spray can that was not "shaken" long enough ?
im really curious as to why this happen.

OH AND maybe you can try wet sanding the affected areas.

I really don't want to do it myself as im afraid I might mess it up.
If i go to auto detailing shops, do you think they might help me with that matter?
perhaps the worst case scenario is to buy a new hood, which is like what, $800?

Don't panic. "Staining" does happen to some cars with plasti dip. What color did you plasti dip it? They don't know what causes it to stain but it usually goes away in 1-2 weeks with the sunlight. Best thing to do is just let it bake in the sun for a week or two and see if it gets better.

a detail shop can assist but dont buy a new anything. just have it repainted by a good shop IF the wet sand step fails to fix it.. your car being a solid color with no metallic flake is pretty easy to match and get right the first time. A fresh paint job on those areas shouldn't be more than $400

THIS IS MY 5K POST. WOOT WOOT !

Make sure you don't start wet sanding it until the 2 week mark is over. Im on the DipYourCar forum a lot of this does occur. It is weird how only hood stained. Also did you dip it yourself or did a company dip it?
