Dynoing with Nannies
I have done 2 different runs on 2 different Mustang dynos. The first I never turned anything off and it made 701hp and 650torque. A few weeks later I ran it on a different dyno and I held the Traction control for 7 sec turning stuff off and it made 708hp and 770 torque.
I do all my mecanical work, but know nothing about tuning. Any explanation? Daren |

Not sure how you made the first dyno run with the tc on. Normally when the back wheels are spninning on the dyno and the front aren't it activates traction control very badly and kills power to try and remedy it.

I was just wondering the other day if we should put our cars in PTM 5, or just hold the button for 7 seconds as mentioned above.

eventually the car will be like there is something wrong here and disable the nannies on its own , but youll get the lights saying they need to be serviced, even on the dyno runs Ive done with them disabled I get those lights , but they go away after i drive a few minutes off the dyne

I'm not buying the 770 trq. Look at the dyno posts that are a sticky on the ZL1 thread. About the only way you make more torque than HP is if you have a stroker crankshaft in the car. And your figures are way out of balance. Are you spinning the tires on the dyno?
