Anyone in PA do a muffler delete?

How do you plan on passing inspection? I was told that an SLP LM I or Magnaflow Comp series will not pass visual inspection because there is no visible muffler at the back end of the car. Of course I find this out AFTER I bought a Comp series axle back.

Hmm.. interesting. I'd imagine all counties have to abide by the same rules since it's a 'state' inspection. Then again I never know what to expect with this damn state. lol

well i live in westmoreland county and you have to have emissions in my county but go to fayette county and you don't need emissions. but i know in westmoerland you don't need mufflers as long as you still have your cats on the car.

I'm in Montgomery county and have emissions here but never had a problem with after market exhausts. Hank is correct though on keeping the cat, although I do know a shop that will "over look" it if you remove your cat.

Yeah, I definitely have no plans to remove the cats. Or even the other restrictive garbage underneath. I just want to put on a muffler delete axle back.

What's the harm in that?! lol

I just put an SLP Loudmouth on mine. For the those of us that don't drive our Camaros daily, you can get emissions inspection exempt if you drive less than 5,000 miles per year. With that, they don't even look at the exhaust. Even if you don't get the exemption, that exhaust is supposed to be legal is 49 states. I'm assuming California is the one that it is not legal in.

Planning on installing the Magnaflow kit, wont have any inspection problems with most of the Chevy dealers out here.
