The forum makes me sad now - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

It’s just so dead now. Like we are lucky if we get 2 new topics posted a day in the general forum. And the sub forums, forget about it. I was just browsing camaro6 out of boredom at work, and it kind of made me feel nestalgic with how active it is over there, I mean obviously it’s more active.

Just made me think back to when I started college 7 years back and I would be sitting in class on my lap top reading through the forum. I would sit in my dorm and read the forum. Sometimes I couldn’t keep up with all the information and activity. I used to fantasize about getting my own camaro. Now I have one and the forum is so slow.

Just venting I guess and beyond bored at work with how slow it is

Honestly.. I have been losing interest after seeing truth and honestly come out from members on vendors then see their posts get deleted.. Sad this site runs on only the $$ that matter and no concern for the folks forking out the $$. Guess what comes around goes around. If I knew what I have learned now I would have done things very different and have been much better off.

People need to know the truth when shelling out their hard earned cash.

The car is almost 10 years old now. The "newness" has faded and people have moved on. It also doesn't help that Facebook groups are now the new "forum".

Modders helped the decline, goofing on us non modders, making us feel 'less than'. So are we just happy driving a Camaro, yupp. Not wasting time here.

I was banned for alleged bullying. How can one grown man bully another grown man on the internet. And the alleged victim was somebody I joked with all the time haha.
