Here they cut down the side so we have the 5ft on the side., then they dropped off some dirt to get the pad level.

Am I the only one looking at the overhead shot and the neigbors pool and thinking about building a slide?

Grass does not do good in the summer, when we get to 124+++ degrees.

Going to start rapping this week. will post new pic when that starts, was thinking of spraying insulation on the side wall its has the sun on it all summer long, that works out to be R7 per in, that works out to R38.5, what do you guys think.

I like insulation even in non HVAC garages. It helps mitigate the temperature extremes. If you are talking about only spraying one wall, I don't know how that will work vs all walls with less insulation.

Anything to bring down the radiant heat. I closed in the trusses with OSB and put that tinfoil lined foam on a roll on my garage door panels and it made a significant difference even before the AC. I only have a 25k window unit and my wife says it's cold in my garage.

No i meant all the walls and ceiling will get insulation, but that wall will get the spray in as it R value will go from R19 to R38, that what i meant .
