The Chest Tube is OUT!

Deb Basica had her chest tube removed a short time ago. They will watch her carefully. Tomorrow they'll take another chest x-ray (yes Deb glows in the dark) to check her left lung and chest for fluid. If all goes well, and it will with your continued prayers, Deb will move to In Patient Intensive Physical Therapy.

Deb had a rough time from 2 to 7. The chest tube was causing her great discomfort. She had enough and took IV pain meds midway through the night. Yesterday she had only oral pain meds. She knows her mind is more clear without the IV pain meds and is fighting through the pain as best she can.

Go Deb Basica GO!

This is a huge step forward in her recovery and brings her a closer to coming home. Thank you God for healing my wife. Thank you all for your prayers. We are humbled to know we have friends and strangers all over the world praying for my injured girls.

Our recovery plan had the chest tube out two days ago. We will get those lost days back with hard work, strength of will and your prayers. We know we can't skip any steps in her recovery, but we know we can make those steps happen faster with prayer and strength of will.

We have a long road ahead of us. Please keep Deb in your prayers.

I'm late to the party (if you can call it that) but my hopes and prayers are with Yall too, Pete.

I'm very thankful Deb is progressing well and hope for a complete recovery.

Didn't GM already build an SS with the Z/28 suspension and aero for SEMA last year?

I think it was a 1LE with some Z/28 aero and maybe some ZL1 parts. It was the V8 concept I believe.

I know it had the DSSV dampers and other suspension parts. Not sure what else but I know we discussed it potentially being a 2LE.

An "engineered system" - the only intelligent way of upgrading without the danger of throwing potentially mismatched parts at a vehicle and realizing less than desired results - available from Chevrolet Performance Parts for upgrading existing SSs.
