LG Motorsports introduces our new Camaro Short Shifter!

Hi guys,

LG Motorsports is steadly building our line of products for the 5th generation Camaro and we are now proud to introduce our newest addition, the Camaro Short Shifter!

Priced Right!! LG CAMARO SHIFTER

STOCK KNOB

THREADED VERSION

These HD one piece steel shifters are a easy and direct replacement for the sloppy stock units. No multi piece, or rubber insulated sticks here! You will see a reduction in throws by over 20% and a positive feel of how a shifter should be in a sports car.

We are offering units that will accept the factory knobs, as well as a threaded version for those wanting a screw on knob. The threaded shafts will also accept our famous Corvette "Man Knob" for those that want or need a controllable button on the side for turning on NOS systems, line locks, or what ever your heart desires.

We offer two styles of threaded knobs right now, our famous tall Delrin knob and a round knob.

ROUND KNOB

TALL KNOB

STOCK KNOB

THREADED AND STOCK STICKS SHOWN WITH MAN KNOB, ROUND, TALL, AND STOCK

See it in Action!

Shifters are making their way out to dealers now so be sure to stop by your local dealer and ask to see one in person!

If this performs as seen in the video....

O.k. I'm sold on the video.

My 2SS has not shown, so far, any of the shifter/transmission maladies afflicting other cars in the forum, yet everynow and then when I try to make quicks shifts it is difficult to find the gate.

As long as I don't hurry the shifts everything is fine regardless of the speed or RPM at which I'm driving or whether I'm launching the car from a dead stop.

Is just when I attempt quick shifts - 4th to 5th (which I believe is mostly me pushing a bit to much to the right) or 2nd to third - that the gremlins come up!

Is not all the time either but about 40% - 50% of times which is annoying to say the least.

Downshifting quickly from 5th or 6th to 4th is never an issue but 5th to 3rd, or 4th to 3rd is a coin toss: sometimes it takes it, sometimes is a botched gearshift.

If the leverage/angle provided by this shifter will make an important difference then I'm ready to drop the dough for one unit.

I'm very happy with the shifter, but again I am a little biased

what are the differences from the factory Hurst shifter option? After driving other cars with aftermarket short throws, it seems the factory hurst could be a bit shorter...

If you use the threaded version, and want to use a custom knob you can, and there is a boot hold down under that so you can push the boot down farther and see the exposed stick if you would like.

Of course you can always use the OEM version and keep it looking 100% stock.

Remember you can always use the threaded knob as well and install any knob of your liking.
