Orig 69 ZL1 vs Orig Yenko just for memories!!

About 11.77 in the quarter. FYI the ZL1 wins! I expect the new ZL1 will perform in this range ...

all you guys are bitching about this and that now but in the months to come I can see all the threads-

"Will a Z28 steering wheel fit on my SS?"

"Can I add the bi-mode exhaust to my car?"

ect ect ect ect

Wow, I need this mild to wild doodad. It's the perfect solution and cheap to boot. Forget aftermarket exhaust, sign me up for this!

Good questions that I'd like to know also. I was wondering how the suede would hold up and how to properly care for and clean it.

After reading 24 pages of posts...

I can't believe the number of people whining about the suede interior OPTION. That's like not buying a house because you didn't like the color of the living room walls...which are going to be painted the color you like before you move in.

Looks like an intense car. Not for me, but very interesting. I look forward to seeing what tweaks GM makes before it hits production based on all the feedback.

Yes, I think you might be "close" on that, but more like $69,990. I do believe before we know it, they will somehow make that engine an option. I'd guess it would make for a ton of press. Kind of similar to the "Super Snake".

Yep,or

"Will the hood from a ZL1 fit my SS?"

"Will the front fascia from a ZL1 fit my SS"

(And from what I read elsewhere they won't)

So many people complaining about a steering wheel....your going to complain about the steering wheel? Seriously?

Will Be Mine

+11!

I hope you had a good sound system with a subwoofer running on whatever computer you watched this. The sound went straight to my spine.

I got chillbumps when I watched the commercial, and again when I watched the rollout. Now that I've changed my shorts I'll say that I WANTED it to be a Z28, but this is acceptable... as long as there is a Z28 at some point which destroys the Boss-Pony. I was hoping for 600+HP from the factory. That would have been Utopia. I'll get there when the warranty runs out (or maybe sooner.)

I'm still very jazzed about the magnetic suspension - we get beastly power and curve appeal.

As for looks, heck yes on the outside, except I'd prefer the functional brake cooling duct as opposed to the extra fog light. I hope you're psychic, Nick. If not, then a blackout cover over the fog lights and a retro grille with retracts for the headlights & I'm all set. It's a fetish, I just gotta have those. That will make it mine.

If the suede if optional, I'll pass on that, however functional. It just looks tacky to me. [pun intended]

I want. No, MUST have.

Blessed are the Faithful, for they shall be rewarded.

Cost? Does it matter? I must have it. I wasn't really using my left testicle that much anyway.

I'll take it in Darth Vader Black.

I can't believe I forgot one of the great parts of the unveiling. Before the press conference Chevy passed out Chevy-branded ear plugs to the press. This car sounds amazing in person

Awesome. We can use them when some nut on a superbike is trying to drown out our rumble.

(Bikers, check my garage, that was tongue-in-cheek.)
