Driver Seat Question

I just bought a 2011 SS for my wife and I dont understand why the Passanger seat will tilt foward using the handle on the back and the driver seat will not. i have to tilt it with the power adj only.

Any Ideas?

Take it to the dealership for warranty repair. Mine had the same problem, and they had to replace a part on it. I bought mine used, though, not sure if yours is new. It'll be covered under warranty.

Yeah, if your seat won't move when you pull it with the handle on the back take it to a dealership....it should work.

Hello Troy,

Does the driver's seat have a handle to adjust the tilt of the seat or electrical only? If you are having any trouble with the seats and you think that it should perform this function, then the best thing to do is to take it to your local dealership and check to see if this is something that may be covered under warranty. Hope this helped!

Same thing happened to my passenger seat. They had to realign the internal lever and it was fine after that.

There was a thread that mentioned a TSB and inadequate lubrication of the release mechanism. Could be what's wrong with yours. Dealer should fix you right up.

Thanks Guys, I will take it by next week. the Drivers side is all elec. and the handle on the back of the seat will not lift up to tilt forward like the passanger side does.
