Got to test drive a 2012 Z today - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I got to test drive a red 2012 Z today.

Reverse mohawk roof, black interior with red stitching, 6 speed....
and...push button start!

2012 370 Z Nismo.....

$10k cheaper than a ZL1 and 1k pounds lighter...

I wish now I had taken actual photos of the car...
Car was very quick... awesome braking.....
Very easy to see out of for a two seater...
Only thing that bothered me about it was the suspension is very very stiff...
IE, I hit a bump and thought I was going to hurl....

My butt started hurting in about 5 mins....
Got the car out on the hwy though and it handles flawlessly.... 350 hp V6..
I could get used to it and it is 10k cheaper...but something way deep down inside of me says NO.

It's not a Bad car, but I don't like the raspiness of the engine when you really push it. It just doesn't sound like music to me.

The driver seat says it is 8 way adjustable...not sure if it will keep your butt from getting sore. I always look for things that turn me off and if my butt is going to hurt after 5 min... well what can I say?
I would defiantly have to take it out on a very rough road before even considering the next time. Almost called the dealer back to tell him about this, but ill wait. I have plenty of time.

If I am going to spend $40k to $60 on a new car, it better do something for me other than aesthetics...
