Yup, that's what I did. Legal on all 3 + UV'd the windshield.

I am waiting for the winter. You can't roll the windows down til the tint cures. There is no way I am going to keep the top up in the summer!

Night Shades did mine. 35% on the sides, 20% on the tiny rear windows and the back window. Sun strip, too...

Makes the car much cooler inside and looks fantastic!

ok, i am stupid. what does the percentages mean you are quoting? i am looking at a new 13 black vert. midwest. to me driving at nite is dark enough, so, does it really make it harder to drive at nite? is 5% the least amount to tint? thanks

The percentage represents the amount of light that gets through the window, so 5% would be VERY dark.

Tinting makes such a huge difference when it's hot outside, couldn't imagine not having it - 35% in the front and 5% around the back and everything is legal

Just kidding - in all seriousness yes, if it is a poorly lit area having heavy tinting on the back window does make things a little difficult when the top is up (like backing out of the driveway and hoping that your neighbor didn't park their black civic right across the street) never had an issue though and that is what the sensors are for

In FL, its almost mandatory.. Wife has hot wheels convertible. Tinted before we bought it...

Definitely tint those convertible windows. It will look great. If you need a place that is reasonably priced and does good work pm me. I have been going there for years. I am not sure how far you want to drive though. They are in Grand Rapids.
