Exhaust for V6 3.6L 2014 RS Camaro

What type of exhaust should I get? Something that sounds good.

Depends on your budget. If you have $1,000+, get a MRT v1 or v2 with a resonated x-pipe installed. If you want to keep it low budget, get a set of Flowmaster Super 44s for less than $300 installed. Here is what my 2014 1LS sounds like:

Bro WTF, the MRT doesnt cost &1000+. The V1 is 450 and the V2 is like 600 only, and the res x pipe is only 100, and is up to the person whether they want the res x pipe or not, depending whether they feel the car is too loud or not.

yeah they are all right, it depends on your budget...
MRTV are very popular and sound great.
I got my exhaust from the dealer when they built my camaro, and dont mind it, especially with an open NPP mod.

I'm looking also. I'm leaning very heavily toward the MRT V2.0 axle back. I was going to go for a full blown cat back and possibly high flow cats but the money for the HP gain isn't impressive enough for me to justify the cost.

I just got my MRT v2 installed a couple days ago. I'm very happy with it! Sounds amazing above 3k RPMs. It does drone though around the 2k RPM mark, such as during highway driving, so if that would bother you, you might want to consider the resonated x pipe as well. I'm going with the x pipe personally.

I have the MRT V1, have drone too but I dont want to quieten the sound car, so I am going to get solo j pipes to kill the drone.

What would this sound like? I love the way yours sounds or would it be close to the same sound?
Thanks

Honestly can't go wrong with Magnaflow. Loved it on my old Camaro.

I went to a local muffler shop that had them in stock. They are just axle back mufflers that are pretty much universal. Single in, single out, 1 muffler for each side. If you're seeing a "setup" or "kit" then that's most likely pre-bent pipes to connect to your exhaust tips. Best bet is to find a muffler shop and see if they have Flowmaster or Magnaflow in stock. If not, order the mufflers from Jegs or some other site and take them to the muffler shop to install. Unless you have the equipment and experience to bend the pipes and weld them on.

That's more than you need to get. If you want the sound I have on a budget, all you need to get are the mufflers and have them installed. See my above reply to Mikescamaro12.

The mufflers have different configurations of where the inlet and outlet are to make connecting to the exhaust pipes easier. They function the same.
