Hey guys,

I just ordered my Camaro with Freeway Chevy in Tempe yesterday. So excited, cant wait to get it, but, it looks like everyone on here has waited about 3 months to get theirs although the dealership told me it takes about 6 weeks. I just wanted to get on a forum with other Camaro owners in the Phoenix area. I love this site. I am going to start using the tracking system here after a week or so because the dealership told me that they will "officially" put the order in on Thursday this week because Chevy doesn't look at orders before Saturday.

Anyways, two things. I cant wait to get my car and I love this site. Hopefully I can join you guys at the weekends once I get my car.

I ordered a 1LT/RS with Sunroof and the Inferno Orange.

If you want, Ill be at the car show at the Safeway on 83rd Ave. and Lake Pleasant on Saturday between 5 and 7 or 8. I'll bring them with me.

I actually dont have a car right now. I got into an accident last Sunday and my car is most likely totaled and I live in Tempe. So, its quite a long way to 83rd and Lake Pleasant. Can you keep it with you until I can get my situation settled?

I am having trouble with the insurance company, maybe some people here have an idea about what I should do. So, here is the story. As I said, I got into an accident on Sunday, the car is most likely totaled. The cops showed up at the scene gave the other party two tickets. One for being the at fault vehicle in the accident and one for not having any kind of papers with her (her DL, insurance or registration). I have passed on her phone number, licence plate number, VIN and the DL number to my insurance company.

My insurance has tried to contact the other party via phone, but she hasnt responded. They have now sent her written communication. I tried calling the Montana DMV to see if they have any insurance information on her plate (her car is registered in MT). They dont have anything either. Tried calling the cops to see if she sent in her papers to them, no luck there either.

I do have uninsured coverage, but, my insurance refuses to bring that into action until they can determine that she infact does not have insurance. What if she never gets in touch with my insurance?

What should I do ??

If you have uninsured coverage they have to take care of you - then it's their problem going after her and her company. Who's your insurance company?

That's what everyone has been telling me. I think I have been nice to them till now. Starting next week I am going to start demanding stuff instead of requesting them.

My younger sister and her husband had to file a law suit against their own insurance company for an uninsured motorist claim. Law suite worked - insurance company settled out of court and paid claim and lawyer fees.

Similar situation, too. Insurance company stalled while "trying to verify coverage" of the perpetrator.

I suggest consulting with an attorney if this drags on more than two or three weeks.
