BLADE SPOILER

As much as I did not want to drill into my car I pulled the trigger and ordered the Blade Spoiler from Maureen at Rodgers Chevrolet. I love old school look of it. I will post pictures as soon as I get it installed. Has anyone purchased the vinyl decals from the Camaro decal store? They look to be OEM. I want to continue the stripe up and over the spoiler.

I'll tell you from experience that trying to get a flat stripe, up and over the blade spoiler is going to be a PITA to do.

I ordered mine from the same person as you even.

I already had a vinyl stripe kit ready to go, and a stripe kit will probably "work" if it's only up the front of the spoiler.

It's when you want to try to bring it over the backside that things get hairy. I just had mine painted. (remove the 3rd brake light first).

Here's pics:

I also have the blade spoiler. Love the look of going up on one side only. Hate the look of going up and over. Don't do it.

We had this spoiler on our 2010 SS and loved it! I hated drilling the holes but when the stock spoiler tape pulled the paint off I lost it. None the less we will be adding this spoiler to our new 1LE.

Brake light is held in with double sided sticky tape. Use plastic pry tools and a hair dryer to get it out.

I had the paint fixed from the old spoiler before I put the new one on.

Thanks for the info everyone. Your cars look great! I am happy I bought it especially after seeing it on your cars. I want the stripe to match the oem stripes so I guess I will just do one side for now. thanks again

You will love the old school look. I had the Bee since 2009 and people really did not pay much attention to her after early 2011. With Kami and the Blade spoiler I get people coming and talking to me about the car and staring at it all the time again.
