Make sure the tank plate inner eye bolt tower nut is the short height one. Or, it won't fit and will interfere with the seat rail. All my plate tower nuts were the taller style, unlike what's shown on the website.

The CG Lock works awesome, and is cheap$$.
Best bang for the buck.
It comes off real easy.
And you don't have to explain why you have racing seat belts when you get pulled over by the cops.

I used the harness bar for the shoulder points at the proper geometry and then the stock seat belt point for the lower ones. No need for a tank plate. But in order for this to work you have to get the strap ends like pictured or it won't work.

With the harness bar I am able to keep the proper geometry for the harnesses and I look at it this way, if I am in a roll over, please kill me 'cause I am gonna be PISSED.

Do you have any pictures showing the harness bar? Which brand?

I also used Speedware and echo Blake's sentiment, double check your shipment. My bar came all scratched up and was missing hardware. The sales guys are awesome over there but their shipping department is out to lunch.

BUT, once it is in, MAN, the thing rocks. Holds me, and my passenger if I have one, in place firmly so I can concentrate on driving and hitting my marks on the track.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

The Brey Krausse bar was perfect out of the box, made of stainless steel, and is actually tested for strength unlike every other bar on the market.

I would agree with a lap belt being the best budget choice but won't compare to 6 points.

Did you have to cut any trim to put this bar in?

2 harness belts to sides, 2 belts to bar, other belts mount to what?

Nothing is cut anywhere. Lap belts hook on the outer hoops integrated into the down tubes and to the inner seatbelt bolt, top 2 on the bar, and the rears I put in the stock seat bolts. I may do a tank plate at some point to get a little more slack but it works fine as is unless your shape would be described as round.
