My experience with these cars this year (7 track days, 3 different tracks), you can't get enough camber in the fronts with OEM. I have the max at both ends that I could get, 1.9 in fronts, 1.1 in rears, BMR full soft front, full hard rear, I've killed the left side tires on two sets, get about 4K miles with 3 to 4 track days. I;ve played with lower pressures 33 etc, upto 40. My car likes about 2lbs more in the rear than the front to free it up some more, but in the end, I need more camber and springs, the center of the tread is 2/3 worn, outside rib, blisters or cords. I too like about 37 hot on a fast track in the fron 39 rear. The biggest issue is that you don't get too many heat cycles out of them, and then they just loose grip with each session and then they over heat when you overdrive them, I'll be on my my 3rd set of Goodyears in one year if I don't change tire brands all together after I add springs and get camber plates.

Had a track day a couple of weeks ago, thought I'd share the carnage from my passenger front tire. -2.0 degrees of camber up front. This was the last track event that these tires would be good for so I'm not too disappointed. On this particular track there are two turns that really load up that tire. Interestingly another ZL1 and a GT500 started to show signs of this (not as bad as mine) and they both had Eagle F1 tires too.. Swapping to 295x35x20 Pilot Super Sports, the backs have been 315x35x20 PSS for several track days now and I am really pleased with them.

Don't forget you can use air pressure to help with a push by adding more PSI on the rears and the other way around. I usually run at least 2 PSI more in the rear than the front, I don't autox, just track. It helps turn the beast. Also, use DIC to monitor your pressures during your run and make adjustments after each session based on how the car was and based on wear pattern on tires.

The added weight of the ZL1 really does stress and kill the front tires more so than the 1LE with the same front wheel/tire package. I have seen that same thing a couple times on the ZL1s at the track with aggressive drivers.

The fronts will also work much harder on the ZL1 in brake zones since entry speeds before corners are increased.
