Put me down as a future customer when production is up and running. Thanks for the effort you have put into this.

Does the tank plate need to be solid in the middle? Would cutting out some diamond cut outs still allow it to have the same strength while reducing weight?

Yes, I've found that having holes to reduce weight also reduce the strength. essentially the thinner areas became concentrated points of stress. Without holes though, load is distributed more evenly and the plate is more rigid.

I know we are all weight conscious but strength is my primary concern. I don't have official weights but it should come in at around 4lbs each including hardware.

No, I'm working out of town this month so I haven't been able to make any more progress on them. I am hoping to have a finished product around the first part of Dec.

Update: Started getting the plates put into production. Pic attached. However, I'm still delayed because the buisness I went with to bend the plate, mistakenly used the wrong thickness.

Thanks for the update! Any hints on what a pair of these will cost (with hardware)?

Not at the moment, waiting on a quote from the powder coater. It will be offered in single or pair and with 5 point/6 point options. I'm really doing my homework to offer the best product and price I possibly can.
