The OEM shock assemblies are huge and I've heard other forum members had success even with the +27 offset 19x10.5 Nurburgring wheels with coilovers. Coilover bodies are usually much smaller than OEM.

...and you ran 305/30r19 tires with the ET22 wheels?

Yep, Hankook RS-3s at 305/30/19.

No issues at all during hard turns and transitions, etc?

Also how do you like the fitment on a 10.5" wheel? Since that's on the smaller end of what you want to put a 305 on. I've heard mixed schools of thought but haven't had first hand feedback from someone that has done it.

Before the season ended, I went to Oregon Raceway Park one time with 20" OEM 1LE wheels + Goodyear G:2 tires and next with 19" APEX wheels + Hankook RS-3 tires. My best time was 1:58.2 with G:2s, and 1:57.2 with the RS-3s. Obviously, a larger wheel would make the tires perform better and increase the surface patch of the tire. That said, at least with RS-3s, I never felt too much flex or steering/balance issues at the track; braking was fine, too. In short, 11"+ would definitely benefit the performance, but I think 10.5" wheels were fine, too. Due to relatively small wheels, I probably did not have a patch bigger than what a 295 would provide, and 295 tires would probably be a better match for this wheel, but the pricing of Hankooks was too good to pass up. Please note that this is my street setup, and I intend to use OEM Z/28 wheels with R-compound tires next season for track duty.

Alright, got my 4mm spacers in and here's what I'm working with. This effectively gives me similar space to what a +23 offset would. I will do some test driving tonight but I suspect I won't be able to really tell if I'll have rubbing issues until my next track day which is March 15.

The wheels and tires look great. Hopefully they will perform well, too. Looking forward to your feedback.

If you have about a 1/4" clearance, use a pen or pencil as a gauge, and you should be good.

If you choose to add more Negative camber you will have problems. But as it sits you look ok. torque and re-torque your wheels. Spacers scare me a little.

I'm not a fan of spacers either. However at only 4mm it still keeps the wheels hub centric. I definitely wouldn't want to go much wider than 4mm.

Once they come in I'll weigh them on our scale at work (super accurate).

Even if they're 26 lbs it is still less than OEM.

To a certain point yes, but the GY over heat much quicker than the Pilot Super Sports. The biggest issue I had on track was when I was running GY's up front..

I don't know if you realize how close you were to the fence. I have a picture I snapped that is on my home computer, I'll have to send it to you. Picture will make your butt hole pucker
Out of curiosity, what alignment and tire pressures are you using? It looks like heat related from straight line braking. The outside edge doesn't seem show much of a beating.

See above for camber. Pressure cold was 32 but shot up to about 39. This track is small and very technical, lots of braking and there is a turn that really loads up the front passenger side tire (as pictured). There were three other people that had tires starting to do the same thing as mine. All were the front passenger tire. If I recall correctly, it was a fairly cool day and the tire temps all started off much lower but shot up once on the track. My tires were fairly worn already and I knew this was going to be the last track event I'd be able to use them, so I'm not too disappointed that this happened. Just wished it would have last one more session.

Can we get a photo of them on the car? Also interested in what you think about the GY versus Yokohama Advan AD08RS. Thanks, Sam.
