You won't be the first but neither was I, there are some others out there. I think it is great. It has exceeded my expectations. When I wanted some more power I called GPI, Aaron was great to work with. He makes wise recommendations based on your goals. I started my horsepower quest by installing the GPI SS1 VVT camshaft. GPI's tuner, Ryan, remote tuned it for me using HP tuners. After a couple of years I wanted my power. I liked everything I was reading and was seeing about the Heartbeat. Again I contacted Aaron at GPI. He spec'd everything I would need to install the Heartbeat. He worked out a very good deal for me. He upgraded the kit for me which got me bigger injectors and a smaller pulley. The install was very straight forward, I installed in in my garage at home. The kit is very high quality, someone who doesn't know Camaros would think it was OEM. Again, Ryan did the tune remotely. It has amazing power. Mine is making about 8 1/2 pounds of boost. You can boil the tires at just about any speed. I have not put the car on a dyno yet but hope to do so soon. Also plan to make some passes at the drag strip this spring. I think you will be very pleased. I wanted mine to be a daily driver, it is very driveable. It even gets decent gas mileage. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

I've had mine for 9 months and love it. If I remember correct it made 603rwhp with stock pulley and 640 with 2 sizes smaller. My builder made a one off 2.8" 10 rib set up and last Saturday evening on the rollers it made 760/720 with 3.23's in the rear. Leaving tomorrow to see what she will do at the Texas Mile.

what suspension mods would you suggest if any? I'm anticipating being in the 500-520'ish WHP after the install? The car currently has the Eibach Pro+ kit on it. Also, the car is strictly a street car. Odds are it won't ever see a drag strip.

What made you choose the PD Heartbeat over say, a top rated Centri kit?

This is not a loaded question. I'm simply intrigued by the Heartbeat users, since they paid a lil' more $$$ for the Heartbeat premium, vs the lower price of other PD and centri kits out there.

I love the clean style look, very quiet to almost a sleeper sound. 3 yrs, 46,000 and going strong. Thinking about adding even more boost this fall. Found zero slippage with my stock pullies.

My Texas mile update:
There was some lost communication between my brain and right hand. I kept missing 5th gear. I ran between 174.7 and 184.5 with a best 1/2 of 160.7
Going for 190+ in October

AWESOME! I love it! Running the mile with PD blower.

I`m a big fan. That's a strong run. I think power made early on the RPM band is overlooked and you are kind of proving the value.

Keep us posted in October.
