Solo Performance Mach-X rocks!!!!! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just installed the Solo Performance Mach-X cat backs and removed the SLP LM II's. The sound from the Mach-X is a little louder, IMO, than the LM II's and sound way better as far as quality and harmony! They have a nice muscle car deep tone while at the same time having a more refined exotic sports car sound, perfect mix! I'm not going to dyno but I could definatly feel the improvement in throttle response! I'm going on a short trip today so I'll report on the droning if any (supposedly none but we'll see).

! Also, the guys at Mufflerman who did the work were great, easy to deal with and did the work in 40 minutes! Great job guys

I almost forgot, I'm selling the SLP LM II's so spread the word. Nothing wrong with them and they sounded great but I decided to go with a full cat back instead! Thanks!

Just got back from a short trip over the weekend and I can say that cruising at 55-60 in 5th gear or 60-75 in 6th absolutly NO drone! The only time it even gets close to drone is in 4th or 5th gear going uphill and laboring the engine, then it gets a little louder but not really droning. Overall I'm very impressed, great idle sound, fantastic WOT sound and very clean exotic muscle car sound overall!

thanks man, i appreciate that. I realize the vendor stated it had none, but i wanted to hear it from a customer to verify, thanks again.

Yea they really took good care of me! I was sceptical of the droning claim also but after driving on the highway I was impressed. Like I said though, they can get a little loud when you're going uphill in 4th or 5th and laboring the engine. Also I would like to add that this system is the CLEANEST looking I've seen. Nice tips and nothing but pipes from the mid muffler to the tips and very symetrical!

Mach X is awesome

Easy install.

Sounds good.. Tips fit perfect.. couldnt ask for anything else..
No drone normal driving.. may hear a SLIGHT like 70-80 mph under load/

Minor either way..

I just installed their Quantum Axleback for the L99. Before and After vids are here.

Very satisfied so far. When I posted a question about installation, Jeff from Solo Performance called me at home to help out. That's what I call CS.

I even had a problem with my CC being incorrectly charged. Lets just say they went above and beyond to make it right. I am very pleased with with my purchase. Awsome product, price and service.

Hey Steve,
Are there any power gains with the Axle Backs,I see the Mach X has decent gains what about the Quantum on the LS3.
