You might consider blanking out the license numbers on both vehicles in the picture. Should this go to court for some reason, you never know what they'll hold against you.

Ack! Sorry to see this happen to your car - and here I'm all upset about someone putting some little scratches on my bumper :(

oh thats beyond words after waiting so long, I would probably lose it and Im an attorney and should know better. Yeah its a problem with people riding our blind spots or getting to close to catch a look. I had a close call twice but no hits

I have a friend that was rear ended a few years ago. His exhaust was pushed forward and caused engine damage. The car was sent to the body shop and fixed cosmetically but the engine damage went unnoticed by the body shop. A week later the head gaskets started to leak coolant. He had to pay up front to get the engine repaired and then prove it was do to being rear ended. It took a month or two but he was finally paid for the cost of the repair. The car always had problems after that. He traded it in about a year later, he got tired of dealing with all the problems.

His was a worst case scenario. I hope yours is not as bad. Just make sure to look over the hole car not just the body damage. If crumple zones on the car are damaged there is a good chance there is damage some ware else. Keep in mined its a uni-body frame. Look at the gaps on all of the body panels for miss alignment. Doors front fenders and so on. It does not look like you were hit to hard but only you can look out for #1. Check your car over with a fine tooth comb before accepting a settlement.

Hope it all works out for you.

Hey buddy..it's New York..what do u expect? ..least you weren't on that bastard of a highway named BQE..

Ehh dont worry bro..accidents happen, at least it was the rear and not where the engine is stored. Then I'd be worried >.<..

I just looked at the pic's a little closer. It looks like your passenger side exhaust is smashed in the pic of your car and there is an imprint of your exhaust tip on his bumper.

I would push to have the car totalled or fixed and traded it in on a new one. You don't wont to have a bad memory every time you look at your car. A Camaro should bring a smile to your face every time you look at it. Not remind you of.

So sad to see. I'd have gone to jail. Someone ever does that to mine, I'll knock the s@@t out of them. I have no patience with people like that, they need to wake up and learn to drive right.

Honestly not impressed with how it took the damage. My Camry got slammed by a Mercury Mountaineer and all I got was a cracked bumper.

I guess exotic cars are packed together a bit tighter than a fat sedan.

Happened to this car about 3 months ago, The same thing, except the boom truck didn't see him or the school bus.

Glad to say it looks like it never got hit now.
