Rob would you order pizza from a seafood place? Im thinking you need to have a professional detailer look at your car. Maybe you can work something out with the painter to let a detailer work his magic on the finish. PAINTERS PAINT,DETAILERS DETAIL...Just my .02

Been there already Doug. The only guy I want sanding on my car is the guy that is going to warranty the paint job. When it gets down to compound and polish, I agree with you. I had a professional at my house and he agreed that the painter had more work to do on it before a Detailer could finish it.
