Exclamation AFM Valve Relocation for Exhaust Upgrade

I have a 2017 2SS A8 w/RPO (NPP,UQA,IO6,LT1) I had been searching all over the market for an exhaust upgrade that would yield the best overall change, and an intermediate price. Being I had Automatic I was limited not buying the EFI tuning AFM Valve chips, or having them Detuned. I ordered the MBRP S7033AL. This exhaust is said to only fit the M6 but it fits right in the A8. Along the subframe on each side (L,R) runs the 5 wire harness for the cylinder deactivation valves, I simply used a panel clip tool and undid the 2 “Christmas trees” closest to the pigtail and you can route them back over the subframe and clip them in the random holes it already has, the exhaust kit comes with the motor valve plate mount for NPP but the valves are the same dimension. I simply relaocated the AFM valves to the rear painted crossmember and mounted them there secured and looks factory. Then for the Loose NPP wires. Zip tie them up and Gen5DIY has female dummy plugs to seal them off. Cheaper alternative, no SES light. And able to run “Manual” Exhaust Systems if you desire to Delete the NPP feature

Thank you for sharing. Good notes to keep incase anyone else runs into troubles with exhaust shops. Most of them don't even bother or do a shit job with hiding it away.
