^ Its gotta be the V-TEC kicking in at 4,500k and riding all the way to 7k.
Things would be a lot worse if Ford would just raise the factory red line to 7,400 and get rid of the soft limiter at 6,700 and shut the fun off at 7k. I think just removing the rev limiter you could see and extra 3-4 mph since they are only currently getting 70% throttle in the 300rpm soft limiter window, in all 4 gear's that they use |

the 5.0's I test drove had wheel hop like a mf'er. literally from launch to about 45mph the wheel hop was unbearable.
the funny part was, despite the wheel hop and lack of traction, it was still accelerating like a madman.

You'd be surprised how many 03-04 Cobra owners are buying these new 5.0's. Both car's are world apart and the new GT is better in just about category, not just its interior. Its also the best platform for a new street strip car |

Wow $40,000 for this car, Really?
http://www.caranddriver.com/news/car...hotos_and_info http://www.nitrobahn.com/news/2012-f...995-price-tag/ the two parts I was interested in were One of the most interesting features of the 2012 Boss 302 is its quad exhaust system, developed to give the car a unique sound. The two primary pipes exiting the rear handle most of the exhaust gases, while two smaller pipes branch off from the exhaust crossover and exit discreetly along the lower body sides, just in front of the rear wheels, sending gases through a set of metal discs that generate unique sounds. Should the owner live somewhere with more lax noise regulations, the plates can easily be removed in favor of aftermarket dump valves. and The 2012 Mustang Boss 302 and 302 Laguna Seca hit dealerships sometime in 2011 at a price yet to be determined. Figure around $36,000 for the base 302 and upwards of $40,000 for the Laguna Seca. Considering that Ford isn’t having any trouble finding homes for its $50,000 Shelby GT500s, we expect the limited-edition Bosses to likewise go quickly I would buy one... The Track key will have an added cost but it os unknown http://dvice.com/archives/2010/11/extra-cost-key.php
