Axle Failure!!! Share your story (Enjoy the picture!)
So, I was leaving for San Diego this past weekend with a group of car enthusiats headed to the SD cars and coffee. Everything seemed fine up until we started onto the freeway and I shifted into second and I heard a nice noise and felt something strange in the rear of the car... The car coasted forward and I couldnt accelerate so I threw it into nuetral and coasted in reverse down the on ramp and did my best to look under the car (lowered) to review any signs of failure... No such luck so we got on the phone with AAA and on the flat bed my ride went to my local shop where they found this!!!!
New axles are from DSS (Drive shaft shop) and are their 1000hp model Last edited by Nighthawk89; 07-30-2017 at 06:42 PM. |
