Solo Axle-back w/ J-Pipes Videos

Solo Axle-backs w/ J-Pipes installation complete. Before and After videos completed. I really like the Solos. Expected a little more volume but love the deeper tone and low noise level at cruise, with no drone. Here are the Factory/Solo exhaust comparison videos. Crank up your sound!

Nice! With the stock cats and resonators in place an axle back will only be so loud. If you want to add some more volume I would start there.

Thanks, Chase. If I want to add a little more volume, which one would take me to the next level - HF Cats or Resonator delete? Baring in mind - I hate cruising speed drone!

The high flow cats will make a bigger difference. You'll also pull some more power with the high flow cats.

Okay - thank you. So if I was looking to increase sound incrementally from what I have now, a X-pipe (resonator delete) would be the next step? Also, if I were to do that, what about drone?

I appreciate your input.

The J-pipes should do a good job of controlling drone, but if you still have AFM that is a different animal. I would not get too aggressive until that was eliminated. Once it was eliminated then I would say yes, a resonator delete would be the next incremental step followed by the cats.

Thanks, Chase. I'm currently using the Range AFM Delete. I don't intend to tune it out - at least not while I still have a warranty.

I've had my Solo J-pipe Axle Backs on my L99 SS for a couple of years now- (one of the first to order). I don't think your video does them justice. My car sounds so much deeper and more aggressive than on your video. They don't have that slight "tinny" sound thats coming through on the video. Also, I found they get louder as time passes. I was told the carbon build up causes that.

True. They do sound better "in person". Those videos were made with an older iPhone.

is the axel back for the verts the same as the one for the coupes? was checking a site and don't see an axle back listed for the L99 coupe but one listed for convertables.
