17x9.5 or 17x10.5 Racestar wheels

Hey Guys,
Curious to know which size Racestar wheels to go with for the rears. I will be using the Mickey Thompson ET Streets R 305/45/17.
Thanks!

A 9.5 will work just fine you can use a 10.5 but that’s just going to be a little more weight.

My car on the trailer with 305 and 17x10.5 Race Star and the Hoosiers are a 9.5 Race Star that I originally had last year and switched to the 10.5 and MT R's this year. Each have a custom BS where both had about 3/8" machined off the face of the wheel. So the 9.5 was originally 6.00 and machined to 6.42 and the 10.5s were 7.00 and machined to 7.42. My car is lowered so wanted to make sure when the tires tucked on the launch there were no issues with tire rub.

If you go with the 17" Race Stars and you hot lap a little the stock rear brake discs will touch the wheels a little, squeak, and scratch the paint. FYI

Thanks for the info! Ended up going with 18x5 up front & 17x10.5 out back. BTW your setup looks great 👍
