Right on! I think I've asked this before, but are you running 91+ octane?

Question: I've heard alot about the Trifecta and IPF tunes but what about the Hypertech Max Energy tuner for the V6.....has anyone used this?

From what I understand that is an off the shelf can tune and cannot do data logging for fine tuning.

Good, just enough time for the car to adjust!

I had the Hypertech tune before the IPF. To me, the differences are pretty night and day. The Hypertech focuses more on "tweaks" and lets you tune to your preferences especially if you have an auto and is mostly if you want to do your own tweaks but are not looking for bigger gains in performance. If you want the most gains or are looking for a custom tune for things like engine/exhaust mods, the Hypertech wont cut it. Not to say it's a bad product, it's just a different tune.

I did get about 1 mpg better fuel economy with the Hypertech that I've not seen yet with the IPF tune. I think the IPF is just a more aggressive tune though which I like. But that is my preference.

There's apparently more to the story than you can get out of the threads. I'll wait this one out.

Hum interesting. I spoke to Vince finally last week as I got a new update finally for my TT. And he said he just added a larger staff to handle the overwhelming request. So we should see an improvement in Trifecta all around. The updated tune he sent me took him 3 days to write as he looked at everything as now he can write on table he could write on before.
