Its your car your money does as you please but like others have stated don't badge it as a 1LE. I have a 2010 that has a wrapped hood from a 1LE and a hood vent from a 2014/15, belly pan from a 2012 ZL1 and Z/28 RUCA bushings and exhaust but still badged with old school SS emblems which a true purist would flip over I'm sure.

If I owned a 1LE the large hood sticker would be gone. It's the worst part of that package. OP don't listen to the asshats that say its a privileged. What a joke. Your car. You do however you see fit and the rest be damned. The funny thing is that the first camaro's with the 1LE RPO didn't have a black hood.

So It isn't even a historic part of the package.

By blowed out I'm assuming he means supercharged. If you look at what he drives it says he drives a supercharged v6.

I just love how everyone jumps down people's throats for something as stupid as wrapping their hood. I understand the the badging. There's a guy around here with a white Lt with z28 badges from the 80'. I agree stupid. But the guy didn't ask should I order shouldn't I. He asked would a 5x5 fit. Answer the question or move on.

Has nothing to do with aesthetics. It's is there for a purpose. And it's matte instead of painted/gloss for the same reason. But hell what do I know.

Not sure where all this 1LE stuff is coming from.. it's like saying no one should buy ZL1/1LE wheel reps either. It's one thing to add parts from a package and another to badge it as one (which OP is far from suggesting)

Good luck with the vinyl install! It'll look amazing.

Well the reason you shouldnt buy the reps is because they're cheaply made and heavy
