Don't want to autocross......

Won't be going to the track.....

A lot of coupe owners have the sunroof & don't care about the Mohawk...

You can use the trunk, you just can't put as much in it....

so - no, no need to go on!

I'd rather be cruising along the beach with the top down than be on a track or autocross. Watching the sun set while I'm driving with the top down is an awesome feeling.......

MOTORTREND: "Where the coupe's roof is pulled in tight over the big, flat rear fenders, the convertible's roof meets the haunches more naturally and better fills the space on the rear deck."
MT does not like the look of the hips!! Thats one of the best parts... I love those flat wide spots on top the rear fenders. It reminds me of a Ferrari or something. The convertible looks great (with the top down) but the coupe looks better IMO.

Some of you may say that convertible are for girls or coupe are better looking, but for us "North of the border" it's a fantastic way to enjoy summer. (it's not very long).

I ordered a 2SS/RS convertible and I can't wait for the asphalt to grow (nice way to say we get rid of the white sh...)

This convertible will be my third new camaro (1976 rally sport, 1980 Z28 manual) and at 56 it will be my other toy to enjoy the sun. I have a nice bike but this car is special.

A lot of my friends are travelling in Motorhomes and are questioning the fact that I want to travel in a Camaro. That's their choice but for me, cruising in Camaro convertible is super trip. Some may say that at 56, I'm on a young adult trip (or worst, a teenager trip) but I don't give a sh.. and I assume myself and will enjoy every minute of it.

I think the Motor Trend article is informative, you'll always get good and bad comments on any subject...

Just take what you like and forget about the rest...

Convertible all the way.

"The best follow-up to last year's award-winning Camaro is a Camaro convertible," said Ed Welburn, GM vice president, global design.
"The Camaro convertible instantly evokes an emotional response - it's a vehicle that you want to make room for in your garage."

"For some of us, an emotional bond was formed when we introduced the Camaro coupe last year," said Ed Peper, Chevrolet general manager.
"It is magnificent. But now this year, if this Camaro convertible doesn't make your heart beat faster, you should see either your optometrist or your cardiologist, because you have a problem."

Id like to take this time to personally thank the 217,374 people who have posted at various times the simplistic comment "I don't like it." Because, it wasn't until that last 217,374th time I read it, that that incredible, bullet proof arguement convinced me that after waiting 9 yrs to purchase a Camaro convertible I was inevitably wrong! I mean, who can argue with that? "I don't like it"- brilliant, genius!!!!!!

Oops, dealer says its too late, mines being built next week... too bad for me... "I don't like it"... brilliant!!!!!

Please ppl- just cuz you don't, others do. Redundant comments make it a pain to browse the forums....

Does anybody know if the rear side windows are the same size and shape as the coupe? If so would it then be possible for someone to build a kit to reinforce the roof, cut out the b-pillar and install the convertible rear side window working parts and glass? I hate the current b-pillar and making a functional rear side glass would be great for those willing to cram into the back seat.

I know someone can do it, so please someone do it....

I wont ever own any more verts or sun roof vehicles. Made sure my 2010 Camaro was NOT sunroof equipped. I seem to have bad luck with things leaking.

I understand your pain..... redundant comments are a pain in the ass. I dislike many things. I like the convertible. Its just not my cup of tea. I own a 1990 Mustang 7-up Convertible(rare car) thats noisy, and dusty sometimes. But its also 20 yrs old. My 2007 LTZ Silverado Dually HD LBCC. Has a friggin sunroof. I never use the dang thing, and it leaks water down the passenger floorboard, every time it rains and when I take it thru the car wash.

Those are my reasonings for only solid top vehicles for me.... lol

I agree with you totally. Personally I like the hard top better, but for those of you who are wanting ad plan on getting a vert, you are getting a solid car that's very easy on the eyes.

Nice review by MotorTrend!

As if there was ever a doubt that you 'vert buyers would be getting anything other than a home-run!!
