I would say driver mod will kill him if your HP doesn't first.

I believe they are AWD standard. C&D has a 2012 E550 sedan running 12.8's at 112.

The E550's are good for mid-high 12's stock.

I'd say it is a driver's race and who gets the best launch. Neither of you have the power to play catch, so, whoever takes the hit will probably take the cake.

My friends father has one. Surprisingly quick, should be a close race.

its the 7 speed trans they come with that gears them agressively. I own a 2007 clk550 which is very similar to a E550. MAKE SURE you take the hit.

Back in 2010, when I first got my SS, an E55 AMG tried very hard to pass me. Triple digits were seen and on a twisty road (which we both knew well because neither of us bought it). I wasn't pulling away and he wasn't gaining on me. A 2011-2012 E550 is probably a tad quicker than the 2003-2006 E55 AMG but it's probably still a driver's race.

Interestingly Top Gear compared the 5th gen Camaro with an E63 AMG. That was not a win for the good guys because that car is a monster.
