Is E85 the way to go for more HP?

I have been looking at trying to increase my HP close to 800 and have been advised to change over to a dual stage fuel pump, upgrade injectors and install a E-85 system. Can you guys tell me if this is a safe way to go? i've seen a few guys on the forum go this route. I still need to buy the upgraded fuel pump either way and I'm looking at getting ID 1000 injectors (If anybody has some for sale?). Do you guy's have any sugestions on which way to go after you look at my current mods, thanks.

Definitely the way to go to help with power especially if you're heavily modded. I recently added the DSX flex fuel kit and I love it.

Your mods don't show in your signature...Edit your sig. and list your mods above the pic and they will show...I would think for an 800HP build that a alcohol system would be more efficient...For those of us near 600HP E85 is a no brainer...

Stock bottom LS3 800+rwhp on E85 with a DSX flex fuel kit as well, made 700rwhp on 91 pump gas, E85= 100+ octane, more boost and more timing, I would get ID1300's for a little room to grow, I started with 1000's and made 803hp, have the 1300's now.

Did you guys just use the DSX kit or you upgraded the entire fuel system as well?

I went with a Fore triple pump set up when I did my latest round of mods so I could go E85. 104-107 octane. I'm at 810 to the wheels through a stalled auto on low boost. E85 is great if you have a ready supply of it available and way cheaper than paying $9/gal for 100 octane race gas. I also run meth.

E85 is awesome however; a few things to remember:

Cold weather affects how the engine starts and runs
Don't let the car sit over winter with a tank of E85 in it
Oil change frequency must be done at half the interval of pump gas

Other than that, the LSA loves E85

Still on stock Cubes?? one of the highest Whp numbers I've seen for boost only. Especially through an Auto... Impressive if so
