"Controversial" Dodge Demon Being Released to Dealers
Controversial? I've never heard of Bugatti, Porsche, Lamborghini or any of the big tuner's cars like Lingenfelter or Hennessey being saddled with the word or having 'public safety' concerns. But it is USA Today. I take pretty much every word they print with a grain of salt.

Not to put too fine a point on this, but almost all of us are driving cars that would petrify a sizable group of the common motorist. I applaud Chrysler for going All In on a niche vehicle. Most of these won't be seen anywhere closer to a drag strip than the occasional trip out to cars and coffee.

And if you have read the MULTI step procedure for just getting that car into the 9-second track mode - specifically intended to prevent spontaneous red light challenges, you know that it’s really only a Hellcat up to that point. And no one condemned them. Well, maybe a Prius forum did and we missed it!
