Oil Leak

Taking the car into the dealer later this week, just looking for any advice so I can hopefully point them in the right direction. I've got a 17 SS 1LE with just over 30k miles (yea I know, been my DD lol) and it appears to have an oil leak. Tracked the car two weeks ago and while doing track prep noticed it was about a half quart low. Topped off and checked my oil level this Sat morning to find that my oil reading was just below the hash marks. I freaked thinking my car was consuming oil that fast and when on the lift noticed burnt oil all around the oil pan. It was clear that the leak wasn't coming from the drain plug or oil filter and I found evidence of a leak towards the front of the engine under the splash shield (or whatever it's called). Anyone else have this issue? The leak is so slow that there is no evidence on the garage floor but its bad enough that I'm a quart low after only two weeks. Any input would be appreciated.

Interesting, thanks for the feedback. Should be hearing back today regarding what they found.....just dropped the car off yesterday. Did they give you any insight as to why it happened or was it just chalked up to a gasket failure?

Update: Oil pan bolts were loose and dealer is dropping the oil pan and re-sealing it under warranty.

Dealer just said gasket failure. They put in a new gasket and re-sealed it. However, now the car has a new problem.

The car would shudder and cut power under moderate acceleration in almost all gears (especially in lower gears like 2nd and 3rd). It's borderline dangerous to drive as there's no power.

Went straight back to the dealership and one of the SAs gave me a call next morning saying its due to all 4 wheels being misaligned cause I've hit too many potholes and causing the ABS to kick in. I was like WTF. I leave the car with the dealer for 3 days and all of a sudden all the wheels are not aligned? and ABS kicking in under acceleration??? This guy was full of sht.

I called the dealership today and spoke to another SA who is much more knowledgeable and they're now taking another look at the car.

What?? How do your oil pan bolts come loose? Not torqued to spec?
I'm no mechanic but isn't that pretty rare?

No idea, you'd think after 6 track days and 30k miles they would've done so sooner. FWIW another member on here I know had the same issue but caught it very early on and just fixed it himself.

Well I might have the same situation. Took car to my hi-perf shop for track alignment and he noticed that I had oil on some of the oil pan bolts and said take it to dealer it is leaking and also said for them to check my steering rack had some ooze around it also. Never got to do my first HPDE at VIR this past weekend. drove to VIR Friday night for registration and onsite tech and on way home picked up a screw in sidewall and could not find another one in stock anywhere around. Must have picked it up close to home becasue the head did not have any marks on it so wasn't there long.
